Today was beautiful. The sun was nice and bright. We spent the day on the beach. Art got up and scored us some loungers on the beach. We had the best view of the ocean. We did take a little break to make appointments at the spa for tomorrow. But I did get a foot/leg massage on the beach. It was so heavenly. My leg was hurting but after the massage it felt so much better.
I had a zoom call for a short time this afternoon. I am speaking in conference on Sunday so I needed to get it all set up so it would run smoothly on Sunday.
Art ordered us guacamole, chips, and shrimp cocktail to have while we were getting cleaned up.
A friend of ours and her new husband are staying at one of the sister properties, so we travel out to see them and have dinner. We had a great time visiting. The food was so/so but we had fun none the less. It started raining when we got there but it was just more of a sprinkle. It didn't take long after that to start to thunder and lightning. At one point there was the biggest flash of light that went through the open air restaurant and before the flash was complete the biggest clap of thunder I have ever heard went off. It started is all. I have never experienced anything even close to that before. It was crazy to say the least. It poured rain on the cab ride back to our hotel and so it made the taxi ride even more scary but we make it back safe and sound.
It is supposed to rain tomorrow. We have spa appointments so it will be ok but I do hope it doesn't rain all day.
