Not much to report for this day.  It was our last full day.  Art and I hung out out the pool.  Trixie and the Coonster went to town and then hung out out the pool. It rained lightly for about 30 minutes. After dinner we pack for the sad trek home.  Looking forward to our return.

After a leisurely morning on the beach, we got in the ocean. No snorkeling but it was great.  The hotel is hosting a paddle boarding contest so the ocean was fairly busy all morning.  It was pretty muggy so the water felt really good.

We went back to our favorite restaurant for dinner.  They were ready for us with more of that delicious meat that just simply melts in your mouth. Words cannot describe how incredibly delicious this is. And the service can’t be beat. When they served our desert the plates had “come back soon” and our names.  What a special touch!

Then to the sister hotel rooftop for and after dinner drink and to enjoy the sax player.  Top the night off watching BSU win.  Woohoo!

2 x 2 on a 4 x 4

Today was exciting. We slept in.....so nice.  We went for the buffet breakfast. The orange juice here is to die for.  I am not a big juice lover and I much prefer grape over orange but my goodness the orange juice here is so good I usually a a few glasses worth......Trixie does too.  We are very thirsty people.

Anyway, after breakfast, we sat by the pool. We didn't have our swimming suits on because we had an excursion today.  So needless to say it was hot sitting at the pool. Art tapped me on the shoulder and pointed to a woman who was giving massages.  So I did a 20 minute massage.  Trixie got one too. After Trixie’s massage we headed for our excursion.

We decided this year, we would do 4x4s in the jungle tour.  When the guys booked the tour the guys they booked it with said he would meet us in the lobby and ensure we got a taxi to the right place.  We were in the lobby at the appointed time but the tour guy didn’t come, sooooooooo  Art talked to the bellman and he got us a taxi and away we went.

We arrived at the tour office and we were handed handkerchiefs and told to were them like banditos . Then we got helmets and googles.  We needed them because the trip was dusty and muddy. I couldn’t  find a pair of googles that fit and weren’t all scratched up, so our guide got me a new pair. We had three 4x4s in our group.  Art and I, the Coonster and Trixie, and a little family consisting of two boys.  Once everyone was equipped, we hopped in the vehicles and off we went. I was a little nervous at first. I hung on for dear life.  But it really wasn’t that scary or bad.  We roared through the back streets of PV.  We also had a guy with us that worked traffic for us so we were safe and a girl who took picture the whole way.  We went up to the jungle area and it was beautiful.  We made three stops.  At the first stop there was stream that was big enough for you to swim in.  We didn’t but the little family did.  We just had a pop and enjoyed.  The second stop was a tequila tasting stop.  Not much for us there but it was a beautiful area.  The third stop was a restaurant. None of us ate there because I don’t  usually eat off site at place like that because I always get sick. Everyone in our group felt the same.  But they did have a big swing hanging from a tree.  Trixie and I both got on it.  It was a blast.  When Trixie was pushing me, I thought she was going to fall in the water.  She didn’t thank heavens but it was sure funny.  We saw a bunch of dogs.  Everywhere there was a dog.  We also saw a few donkeys and a little pig on the road.  Art even petted one of the small donkeys.  The whole trip was so exciting, fun, and beautiful.  Well worth going.

We were tired when we got back so we showered and had room service for dinner.  Overall it was just a really fun day.

10 out of 10 Day

This was a 10 out of 10 day for sure.  This morning we had a nice breakfast. We ate at the restaurant close by. Then Trixie and I headed to the sister hotel for our massages. We knew you could walk there and not take the trolley but we weren’t exactly sure how.  We got in one elevator went up a few floors then we got out and walked up about four floors of stairs.  We weren’t positive were we were but it looked familiar from the last time we were here.  We found our way around to an elevator and waited and waited and waited. It made us think it was going to open but it never did.  Trixie went down the hall to see if there might be some other elevators but nope.  Finally, a worker in paint clothes carrying a paint can came by.  We asked him if he spoke English and he said a little then asked if we were looking for the spa.  He took us around the other corner and bam there were the elevators we needed.  Up we flew to our appointment.  We did all the spa things.......sat in a sauna then did the cold fire hose dousing on your head (it wasn’t as bad this time around) then another sauna then you dunk yourself in a ice cold pool then get in a hot tub.  After that you get in a pool with jets and tubes shooting water out.  This was all before we had our massage.  We met a nice lady from California who joined us.  We had a nice visit with her and found out she is a doctor. Not that it matters any...just something we learned.  We went in for massages.  We opted to do the relaxation massage.  It was a massage of a lifetime.  We both got really really good masseuses.  We really lucked out. It was 80 minutes of pure heaven.  The pressure was perfect and I caught myself dosing off a few times. It was so nice to have my muscles finally loosening up.  They freeze up so much it is hard to get them to relax but this massage did the trick.  I just loved it.  Thanks Art for arranging.

We got done in time to join the guys for a quick bite of lunch by the pool.  We let our lunch digest a little bit then we hoped on the trolley and headed for the beach.  It was such a beautiful day and the weather was perfect.  The Coonster, Trixie and I grabbed some snorkeling gear and headed to the ocean.  The tide was low so we had to be careful not to get hurt or scrape along the rocks.  We were able to see some really beautiful fish.  Who knew?! We have played in the area but I had no idea there were so many fish swimming around especially by the rocks.  Everyday we have said we should go snorkeling and everyday passes without us going so it was great we made it happen.  The ocean water was so warm and you could just walk out and start to snorkel.  Hope we get an other opportunity to go before we go home.

If you recall.......maybe.....  I mentioned in an earlier post that the Coonster asked one of the restaurant managers about an item and he said he would get it.  We made arrangements to have it on Saturday.  Well.......... we had reservations to go there as well tonight.  The manager saw us come in and quickly came over to us and said we could have that item tonight.  We were thrilled to say the least.  This item is the cap end of a rib steak and is apparently very hard to get.  That is why they removed it from the menu. We could not believe our good fortune of having it tonight.  Of course we all said yes we wanted it.  Art also ordered lamp chops to go with his and I ordered grilled shrimp to go with mine. One of our waiters brought out extremely hot plates and then the manager brought the meat out and placed this incredibly beautiful piece of meat on our plates. This meat was so tender that you could literally cut it with your fork.  It was seasoned to absolute perfection.  It was cooked perfectly.  Not over cooked not undercooked it was Goldilocks meat.......just right.   As our eyes gazed upon the beautiful piece of meat our stomachs hollered feed me feed me.  After eating it our stomachs hollered thank you very much.  I am not kidding this meat just melted in your mouth.  Trixie said it best..... You don’t have to chew it much as it just melts in your mouth. While we were enjoying our delightful meal the head chef came out to talk with us.  He asked how everything was and said it was his pleasure to cook this up special for us and hope we enjoyed eating it as much as he enjoyed preparing it.  Oh my goodness gracious.... we enjoyed it more.....hands down. We felt like royalty or some kind of celeb with all the attention showered on us by all the staff.  It was so great.

After dinner, we went to the sister hotel rooftop for a nightcap.  It is a very trendy and happening place.  There was a sax player and Art and I danced  then Trixie and the Coonster danced a couple  times.  As Trixie, the Coonster and I are not drinkers, The waiter said he would have the bartender make a virgin surprise drink for us.  I liked the first one he made but the second one was super sour.  None the less we had a good time. After we got back to our apartment the placed called to let us know Trixie had left her bag.  Thank heavens they found it!  She and the Coonster quickly went back to retrieve it and all was well.  Now it is late and time for me to hit the sheets.  Today was definitely a 10 out of 10 days.

A Little Never Hurt

Tonight’s report will be short and sweet.  It rained most of the night.  By the time we got up and going it had stopped.  It picked back up while we were eating breakfast but had stopped again by the time we were done.  We scored loungers at the pool. It was pretty overcast all day.  It rained a tiny bit while we were out but not enough to make us go in. We did get in the pool this afternoon but for the most part we slept and just vegged out. Art read some of his book, the Coonster looked some things up on his phone, and Trixie and I played games on my phone a little but for the most part we just slept and vegged out.  It was exhausting........we all went to bed at 9:30 tonight.

One funny today.  The toilets in the main building are the best.  They have heated seats , wash your lower end (front and/or back) and dry you. I am a huge fan. We all are .....well........ except Art.  He had never used it til today.  Have came out and described his experience to us. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall as he squealed out when the water first hit his lower end.  We laughed as he explained his experience.  I said I don’t suppose you’ll use it again to which with a smile he replied without missing a beat.....Maybe.  Hmmmmmm.  I think he might enjoy it once he gets over the shock of it.

Shop Til Ya Drop

I  thoroughly enjoyed event part of today.   I slept in.......it was nice.  After breakfast we got a taxi and headed to town. We got dropped off at the Malecon.  When we got out of the taxi, Trixie’s the chain on Trixie’s necklace broke.  So one of the first shops we went to was the silver shop.  The lady who works there actually remembered us from last time we were there in March.  She said she saw Trixie and remembered us.  We wondered if she really did but a little later she said weren’t you on crutches last time? So I knew she really did remember.  I saw a cute pinky ring that spoke to me so I had to get it.  In addition to a new chain, Trixie got some really pretty rings and earrings.  We then went to lunch.  It was delicious!  We then traveled to the barter market.  Treasures were bought by all.  After the market, we grabbed a cab and went to our favorite store. The taxi driver waited for us while we shopped and we were able  to keep he treasures from the market in the taxi.  Everyone but the Coonster got things there. Art got some new belts and I got ....count them three pairs of shoes.  Woohoo!   Even Trixie got some new sandals.

There was a threat of rain tonight but we lucked out.  No rain and we were able to eat outside.  Hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow.  There is still a threat.

After dinner, Art gave me another jewelry box with a beautiful ruby ring, earrings , and necklace. I was so surprised........very excited and pleasantly surprised.

Now off to bed.............

Full Day of Relaxing

Today was a full day of relaxing.  We slept in a little and the. When for breakfast.  It was a good thing we we’re in a hurry as it took 1 1/2  hours to get through breakfast.  Trixie and Art never did get their complete order.  But we did get some delicious juice.  Then we went to the beach.   We had a very attentive employee working the beach.  He took great care of us.  Trixie spent a lot of time in the ocean.  Once with me and once with the Coonster.  The water was so refreshing.  And surprisingly warm.  It felt good because it was pretty hot and humid. Dark clouds were pretty threatening late afternoon.   Trixie treated me to a nice foot massage on the beach.  We just visited with the ladies doing the massages and enjoyed a great foot rub. It was soooo great! Plus.....  I did get a Packers bracelet made on the beach.

After we came up to the apartment Trixie and I got into the little infinity pool.  Then we all got ready for dinner.  Before heading to dinner Art gave me a little ring box.  I opened up the box and there was a beautiful black hills gold ring.  I was so surprised.  I just love it!  We had to hurry from our apartment to the restaurant because it was raining.  We got seated for dinner but had to move to another table because we kept getting wet drops of water on us.  Because of the rain, everyone had to eat inside.  It was a mad house. The main manager assisted our waiter with ordering our appetizers and thanked us for our patience with all the madness.  Even with the madness, it was still better than the breakfast service.  So we didn’t mind and our service really was good.  The Coonster asked the main manager about an item that used to be on the menu.  He explained why they didn’t have it anymore but said if came back he would make it special for us.  Sooooo we are going back on Saturday.  We are super stoked.  Fortunately, when we left dinner to go back to the apartment, the rain had stopped.  Today was a great day!  Just watching some football and then to bed.  Busy day tomorrow........we are going shopping.

By the way.....the LITTLE TINY screw is still missing.

Relaxing Day

First off yes the Broncos pulled it off and won in over time.  Woohoo!  Can’t say much about this morning as I slept most of it.  We got some loungers by the pool.  We got in the pool and it was really nice.  Not too cold and not too hot.  While we were in the pool a bunch more people came.  They threw their stuff on our loungers when it was clear they were occupied they were just overall rude and annoying ......oh well.

Trixie went for a massage on the beach.  The Coonster waited for her down on the beach.  Art and I stayed at the pool until it just got too annoying to stay.  We went back to the room and waited for the Coonster and Trixie. Overall it was a pretty relaxing day. Got cleaned up and went to dinner now just relaxing watching some football. Maybe tomorrow we’ll do some snorkeling.

Funny Story

Ok....... so in the first post I mention there was a funny story.  It is completely innocent but not suitable for all readers. But deserves it’s own post.

So the reason we wanted to do the presentation was to see the penthouse suite.   We really wanted to see it.  We didn’t get to though however because they were all occupied........dang it.  Anyway, you know how presentations work.  You tour their “special” suits then go to the office for the sales pitch.  We were on are way to the office, we got in the elevator and Trixie dropped her sunglasses. She picked them up and all was well.......then she dropped them again.  This time all was not well. The little tiny screw fell out where the ear piece is connected.  OH NO!  The LITTLE TINY screw fell out.
Let me take a moment and explain how we were all standing in said elevator. The salesman and I were standing on one side. Art was in the corner and the Coonster was on the other side.  Trixie was standing in front of Art. When Trixie realized the LITTLE TINY screw had fallen out she immediately bent over to look on the ground for this LITTLE TINY Screw. When she did, she pinned Art to the wall.  This made for a very compromising looking position for the two. Just then the elevator door opened and there appeared a very stunned looking woman.  I didn’t want her get the wrong impression so I said “oh we are looking for a screw”.  Quickly realizing that didn’t sound good especially with the way they were positioned I added “literally”  we all started laughing the poor salesman although he was laughing too his poor face was bright red.  By the way we never did find the LITTLE TINY Screw.  Guess it was just too small.

We’re Back

Well I would say “can’t believe it has been a year since we were last here but, I can’t because it has only been 8 1/2 months.  But I can say I am so happy to be back.

The trip had potential to go south but as luck would have it...... it didn’t.  We got up at 3:30 on Friday.  Let me correct that..... I got up at 3:30 and Don got up at 4:00 and that would be in the am.  The Buddy picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.  We went through security and my bag got flagged.  After waiting for awhile, I asked if my bag could get checked so I could catch my flight.  I was told no I had to wait as the agent didn’t work on that side.  Seeing that I was still waiting she asked for permission to check my bag and was given the ok.  Can you believe the thing that caused that hang up was my contacts?!?!  Wow!  Anyway, because we were so long at the gate, we didn’t have to wait long until we boarded.  That was really nice.

We boarded the plane but the pilot said that because there was ice on the wings and tail, the planed needed deiced.  That took awhile.  Then the pilot said there was something wrong with the weight balance sensor so we had to wait for that fix.  We ended up leaving almost 50 minutes late.  Art and I were worried we would miss our connection.  We worried that we would also miss hooking up with Trixie and the ol Coonster.  But the pilot was able to make up about 30 minutes in the air.  The flight attendant told us what gate we would arrive at and we knew what gate we were supposed to depart from so we knew we would have to run fast to make the connection.  When we got off I was hurrying to find an arrival/departure board to verify the gate we needed and I heard my name.  I turned to see the ol Coonster and Trixie.  As luck would have it the plane going to PV was the plane we just got off of.  Wow.... what luck!  Thanks to Trixie being in a wheelchair, we flew through customs and arrived safe and sound.

We went to bed early and we got up  early.  We did the hotel presentation.  Because this is already too long, I won’t go into it at this time.  Needless to say, there are no bargains so we didn’t join.  We did have a funny experience that I will share later but it is too late tonight to relate it.  I was fortunate enough to get a wonderfully awesome massage on the beach this afternoon.  Trixie left her iPad at the airport so they had to go back to the airport to pick it up. After dinner, we watched the BSU game. It is after 1:00 here and the game is in overtime.  I need to go to bed so more tomorrow.  I will say the food is still delicious!  Til tomorrow.

Today...

What did we do today?  Well I’ll tell ya.  We relaxed for a while then we relaxed some more and when we gone done with that we relaxed some more.  We played in the ocean and had a quick dip in the pool.

There is a lady here that is older.... not elderly but older.  Trixie and I made up a story about her life.  Well........ she struck up a conversation with me today and I have to say first we weren’t too off on our story and second she is charming. I wish we had met her earlier in the week because I would love to get to know her more.

Also, the Ol Coonster got stuck in the bathroom today.  We all know that is my worst nightmare.  The lock on the door broke.  He pounded on the door and a guy let him out.  Then same guy went in left the door a jar so he wouldn’t get locked in and someone saw it was ajar and shut it on him.  So the ol Coonster saw that happening so he returned the favor and let him out. He then reported the problem to the front desk. Sooooo when I went up to the restroom I saw the men’s door open and the handle removed.  Wouldn’t you know it some guy went in and shut the door. Yep he was locked in.  I know what you’re thinking.....why would you shut the door when it is very obviously broke?  Anyway it got fixed.

The other crazy today.  We ride a little trolley from lobby to lobby and to the steakhouse.  There are a lot of hills and curves.  On our ride back tonight we were going downhill and made a sharp turn and my slick clothes on the polished wood seat was more than I could control with my bad foot. Yes I did yes I slide right off the seat onto the floor.  The driver saw me and slowed way down to almost
stopping turned around to make sure I was ok the started to laugh.  I laughed to.  Art tried to catch
me but I slide off to quick.  Art hung on to me really tight after that.

Overall it was a great day!

A Whole Day in the Sun

Well I am happy to report that Art is on the mend, not 100% yet but I’ll take any improvement.  He was able to join us all day.

After breakfast we went to the beach,  And there is where we stayed all day.  Trixie and the ol Coonster went out in the ocean in a kayak.  I think they had a great time.  If I can figure out how to post a video to this blog, I will post the video that I took of them.  We actually bought some things from the beach vendors.  I got a new cover up and a couple of neckaces.  I really wanted to get some new earrings but didn’t see any that I liked at a price I was willing to pay.  Trixie got a wrap a couple necklaces and some earrings.  She made a haul and they look all really good on her.  She should wear dangley earrings more often as they really look awesome on her. Art got a massage by the pool.  He said he thought it helped.  Hope he does it again tomorrow.

We went to the Japanese restaurant for dinner.  Art wasn’t all that impressed with the food and I concur.  I think the hype was a lot for this place so we were expecting more.  That’s ok......it was not terrible and considering that is the worst meal we have been pretty lucky to have had great meals.

I think tomorrow will. Be a repeat of today.  Woohoo.

Spa Day You Say

Another beautiful day in paradise!  Trixie, the Ol Coonster and I got up and went to breakfast.  Art was up all night sicker than a dog.  I felt so bad for him.  While he slept, I slipped down to have some food.  The ol Coonster said he would help me as I am on two crutches.  (Art usually helps me and is so good to make sure I am taken care of.) But while we were waiting for our omelets the chef said something to one of the workers and they came and assisted me.  I was glad because that way the ol Coonster could get his breakfast without having to wait on me first.  That is the way the ol Coonster is though.  He is very thoughtful. Hope they do that again so Art can get his first without having to take care of me first.

After breakfast, I came back up and spent the morning on the deck......in case Art needed anything.  The ol Coonster and Trixie went to the beach.

This afternoon, Trixie and I went for a massage.  Now let me just stop right there for a second.  We had massages scheduled but what we got was an experience.  Ivan was assigned to us and he took good care of us.  The Spa was decorated in gold and white.  It was really upscale.  First we went in the sauna for 10 minutes then we went in this chamber?. The chamber according to Ivan was.....in his exact words “relaxing and invigorating” for your shoulders, neck, and back.  Ummmmm not!  Trixie said she would be the gineau pig and go first.  GREAT!  She went into this chamber thing and sat down.  Ivan told her to bend her head and lean forward just a little which she willingly complied.  Then WHOOSH!  Over head, out of this very large looking bullet thing, without any warning came water...... not just a dribble but a full on fire hose amount.  It dumped on her like nothing I have ever seen.  The look on her face was sheer and utter shock and surprise as she let out a horrified scream.  She grabbed her head like it was about to pop off.  Everyone turned to look and when Ivan and I locked eyes on each other, we burst into laughter.  I laughed til I cried.  She was in there for 90 seconds.  The longest 90 seconds of her life she would say.  When she got out she asked if she made a sound...........oh she sure did. Ivan told me oh it is cold at first but then warms up.  Well that’s a lie.  It is cold and stays cold.  Really shocking cold.  After watching Trixie, I told Ivan I would pass as it takes a long time to dry my hair.  But Ivan was not going to take no for an answer.  He got me a shower cap.  I honestly didn’t think I would make it the full 90 minutes.  But I did. Good Golly it was cold and 90 seconds is a long time.  After the torture chamber we got into a lovely hot tub.  We didn’t get to enjoy it nearly long enough as it was time for our massages.  Trixie had a relaxation massage and mine was a hot stone.  It felt so good.  The therapist didn’t touch my foot at all but she rubbed my sore knee and man did that feel good.  I really think it helped.  Overall,  I really am doing a lot better.... I have less pain everyday.  After the massages we sat in chairs with a hot rice packs around our necks and a cool cloth on our foreheads.  We sipped tea and had cookies, almonds, and raisins while looking out on the ocean.  It truly was an experience.  We loved every minute........well except the chamber.  And I must admit, I loved watching Trixie do it.  I wish I had video to show her so she could enjoy watching too.  We laughed the rest of the day over it.

We ordered some room service for a snack then Art went back to bed and off to dinner the rest of us went.  They started a new menu tonight so it was a little hectic for the wait staff.  They did a good job all things considered and we had a good meal.

Off to bed as I am pretty tired.  Hope Art is better tomorrow.   Good night to all.

Shopping

Today was another beautiful day!  We found some loungers by the pool then went and had breakfast.   After breakfast, Trixie and the ol Coonster and I took a dip in the pool.  Then we dried off and went back to the room and got ready for a fun day shopping.

We took a cab in to town.  Cairo was our driver and although we had a few scares, the ride wasn’t to bad.  We joked with him all the way and the time went quickly.  First we had lunch at one of our most favorite restaurants.  It was so delicious.  We did a lot of walking and my foot and leg did great.  Woohoo!  The ol Coonster found a great pair of shoes.  I think they look really great.  They also were able to get some fun souvenirs.  After visiting several shops and visiting the old Church, we headed to Costco. I even got a pair of swim shoes at a Costco.

The return cab ride was pretty scary.  I was so glad to get back to the hotel. Usually I am in the back with Art and if it gets scary I grab his leg. I was in the front this time so I had to grab my own leg ... and I did.   I kept thinking “hmmmm we are going to make it all the way to the scene of the crash” but thankfully we made back safe.  We had a lovely dinner on the beach.  It was a little chilly for me and Trixie so the guys were going to get our sweaters but the manager of the restaurant so “oh no don’t go we have wraps”. He brought us table runners to wear.  They worked great and kept us warm.  Every place we eat they are very careful to make sure Trixie gets only gluten free.  Tonight they brought us a plateful of desserts and ice cream for Trixie.

I didn’t get much sleep last night.  I was up throwing up but today I felt great.  Now tonight after crawling into bed Art decided he would spend the night throwing up.  Hope he recovers as quick as I did......or sooner.

Tomorrow Trixie and I have spa appointments..... which reminds me.  They offer quick ten minute massages by the pool.  I just love it.

Sun You Say

Wow!  What a beautiful day!  Not sure what is better the weather or the hotel.  This hotel is simply put AWESOME!  We all slept in a little.  Then we went for the buffet breakfast.  The buffet is not the best I have been to, but the food was pretty darn good.......well except the French toast.  It was so hard I had to cut it with a knife.  And never could cut the crust.  But.....the rest was really good.

Art got up early and scored us some loungers on the beach.  The beach is great!  We just enjoyed the beach.  Art helped me down to the ocean and dip my feet. The water is so clear you can actually see the bottom where it is shallow.  Trixie and the ol Coonster got in the ocean and swam.  They have kyaking and paddle boarding  here.  Wish I could do it but I don’t dare take a chance.

We had the best dinner!  I told our awesome waiter Alvaro, that Trixie and the ol Coonster were celebrating their 43rd anniversary.  He surprised them with a decorated plate that had hearts and flowers drawn on it with carmel and fruit drizzling that said Happy 43rd Anniversary!  What a cool touch.  Super fun!!!!

Just a little side note.  The toilets here have heated toilet seats and double as bidets. It has taken me by surprise more than once.

Tomorrow the plan is to hit the marcadero.  Yeah!!!!

Much Needed

Well this trip was such a breath of fresh air for Art and I.  The winter was long and two cancelled trips later here we are in sunny Puerto Vallarta.  As you all know I had surgery on my foot to remove a tumor and it couldn’t have gone more wrong.  Anyway that is a post for another time.

The Buddy picked us up at about 7 am.  I was a little worried as it was supposed to snow the night before.  But as luck would have it..... it only rained. The buddy dropped us off and away we went.  The flight to Oakland was quick.  I sat next to a lady who had recently experienced a tragic death of her loved one.  So in true fashion,  it was a counseling session.  She was so grateful and said on numerous occasions how she didn’t need counseling anymore as I had helped her so much.  She was a sweet lady and the loss truly was tragic. Art thought she was a true real housewife if you know what I mean.

We hooked up with Trixie and the ol Coonster in Oakland.  They arrived just as we began boarding. Whew!!!!  My seat mate to Puerto Vallarta was a dream!!!  It was my sister Trixie.  We had a great visit and arrived at our destination in no time:::::::: or so it seemed.

The hotel is awesome.  Art did a great job finding it. Easy to maneuver around with my crutches.  Yes I am in Paradise with crutches........can’t have everything.    It is going to be a great week!!!  Can’t wait.  Stay tuned.  With this group there is bound to be stories.
