Change of Plans

We got up early.  We were scheduled to go on a harbor tour this morning.  We got up early and got ready to go, The weather wasn’t the greatest. It was pretty chilly and the wind was blowing hard.  It blew so hard the water in the hot tub was swirling like the jets were on but they weren’t.  Anyway, We weren’t sure exactly where we were supposed to be so we went a little early.  We found the place ok and being early, we were the only ones in the parking lot,  a very large parking lot, with a lot of spaces.  A man pulled up and parked right next to us.  Right close to us.  He opened his door and the wind blew it right into our car side mirror.  Art got out and the man shrugged it off and looked at the mirror. Art asked him why with all the open spaces he chose to park so close and his response was “you parked in my space”.  Then he got on the boat we were supposed to be on.  As we sat waiting for the time the wind got worse and the waves on the water got more intense.  Art said to me “everything in my head is screaming to not get on the boat and if he did he would be sorry”.  I totally support any prompting he gets.  We sat there a little bit more and when it was time to check in Art said he really felt we needed to go so…….. we left.

We hung out at the condo for the rest of the morning.  We went to the cafe on the beach for lunch.  It was delicious.  After lunch we drove around and looked at different condos to rent for when we come back.  

For dinner we went to a nice steakhouse.  I had prime rib and Art had lamb chops.  He said they were the best lamb chops he has ever had.  the prime rib was pretty good as well. 

We went to the same palace we went last night to listen to the band playing.  They were good but not as many folks were there as last night.  It was easier to find a place to sit.  Another couple from Indiana came and sat with us.  It is such a small world.  He used to be a sales rep and Idaho and Utah were his area.  We had a great visit with them.  It is easy to make friends here.  I think that is why we like it so much and it is so fun. 

Not sure what tomorrow will bring but I am sure it will be fun.
