Fun Day Yes…. It Was

We decided even though we bought stuff for breakfast, this morning would be good to go to breakfast. (Mostly because we didn’t buy sweetener for Art’s coffee).  We found a great little restaurant down the road a little ways on the beach.  It only had 6 tables. The service and food were really good.  We are so glad we found it.

Art got a call someone was coming to fix the internet.  So after breakfast we headed back to the condo.  The resident  maintenance guy came and looked at it.  He asked if we had tried resetting the router which we assured him we had. He of coarse restarted it as well and it still didn’t work for him either.  He told me he hated machines and called his boss.  He said they needed to call the cable company and they would come. He said we didn’t need to be here,  he would let them in but Art got a call that said that we did need to be here and gave him a time frame.

Since we had time before the cable guys would come, we decided to drive around the island.  We also need to get a bag for our excursion tomorrow.  There are a lot of shops that sell t-shirts, hats, and souvenirs and we stopped at most of them.  The crazy thing is they look different on the outside but the moment you step inside they are all exactly alike.  No kidding you can’t tell any difference.  Art said he felt like he was stuck in ground hogs day.  After all that we got a bag at the grocery store.

It was fun driving the island.  It is a big island.  On one end it is mostly sand dunes all the way to the ocean.  You can drive out on the sand but we didn’t.

We came back to the condo early enough to meet the cable guy but he was early and was here when we got back.  He worked and worked to get the internet working but couldn’t.  He called someone else to come and help him.  It took two guys and two hours to figure out the cable box was bad and needed to be replaced.  We now have internet.  YEAH!!!

We went to a really fun hut for dinner and listened to a band called 3 fools on 3 stools.  They were awesome!!!  We got the last table available.  The place was packed.  We were surprised how many people were there.  But it was so much fun!!!!  We loved every minute. They were really talented and entertaining.  They played til 8:30 and we stayed til then.  We talked to the guitar player after.  He was so good!!  He got up and danced with folks while still playing.  It was just so much fun!

Back to the condo and headed for bed.  We have an early morning tomorrow.

I forgot to mention yesterday:

The woman who sat behind Art on the plane had the worst productive cough.  I am not sure if she has covid or RSV or something worse but we masked up and hope we don’t get what she has.

There is a car here with Idaho 8B license plates.  I am hoping to run into the owner.
