Road Trip

 We had so much fun on our last road trip, we decided t do it again.  We are going to go to Yosemite and today was day one.  We drove to Fallon NV.  It was a leisurely drive.  We did encounter signs for road construction and we had to wait for a pilot car but the crazy part was there was no construction going on.  It was pretty bizarre.  We listened to an audio book part of the way.  That made the time go by pretty fast. 

We stopped in Winnemucca  for a nice lunch.  I am not sure I was suppose to be there.  I was the only female in the place.  Another bizarre event.   

We arrived in Fallon in early afternoon.  We got checked in and went to the Walmart.  We discovered we left the cooler at home so we got a new one.  It was the biggest Walmart I have ever seen.  It was a super super sized store. 

We had dinner at the biggest casino in town.  It wasn’t all that big but they tout it to be the biggest.  We went there because they advertised having prime rib on Sundays.  Yum……. They didn’t have any.  The waiter said they sold out last night….darn.  The meal we had was good none the less. The casino only had slots.  We played a little then went back the hotel.  It is nice to breath clear air.  It is pretty overcast and the forecast is snow.   SNOW……that is a big YIKES.  

We brought our grounding sheet.  It is a different kind than the one at home so it will be interesting to see how it works out.
